On September 24th, Dr. Wang Shanshan, Assistant to the President and executive Dean of the International College of Burapha University in Thailand, and Dr. Xu Xiaobo, Director of the International Affairs Office of the International College, visited our school for the first time. Ma Zhengrong, the vice dean of the International Education College, received the guests and held friendly talks with them, aiming to promote Sino-foreign cooperative education and lay a solid foundation for future educational cooperation between the two schools.
During the talks, both sides respectively introduced the history, characteristics and discipline construction of their schools, shared the achievements of international exchanges and cooperation, and expressed the hope that this negotiation would serve as an opportunity to achieve complementary advantages and coordinated development of the two schools, enhance communication and exchanges, share high-quality educational resources, explore innovative paths in education, and contribute to promoting mutual learning and exchanges in education and culture between China and Thailand.
The first visit of Burapha University in Thailand not only established a regular and efficient cooperation and communication mechanism for the two schools, but also injected new vitality into the international education cooperation map of our university. In the future, the two schools will take Sino-foreign cooperative education as the core link, deepen cooperation in areas such as educational and teaching coordination and mutual visits and exchanges of teachers and students, focus on broadening students’ global horizons, cultivate high-quality international talents, and continuously enhance the internationalization level and core competitiveness of our school’s education.
